This species list identifies those bird species that can be expected in Indiana. The order of this list follows the AOU Checklist of North American Birds, 7th Edition. The Swifts, Hummingbirds, Kingfisher Gallery contains three species that can be expected in Indiana. The three species are: Chimney Swift, Ruby-throated Hummingbird and Belted Kingfisher. All three of these species have been photographed.
