2019 was a great year for morels everywhere in the area.
Stuck Box Turtle
Gutter drain was clogged for two months. I found out why when I dug up the drain. This small box turtle had worked his way over 20 yards through the pipe to gutter and was stuck. He was alive and walked off when I released him. Lucky turtle!
My First Hazlenuts!
Nov 1, 2019. I planted these in 2012 and this was the first year I saw nuts on the trees. There are at least a dozen in yard half-way up to road and on both sides of the driveway.
